nasty cookies

Recommended Posts

Hey, from what I've been seeing lately, quite a few of you have bee getting the cookie run-around whenever you visit the forum. I have the same problem, as I like to click on the forum link and be signed in automatically. That way I can instantly see if I have a new message in my box. Well, good news. You are signed in, but not at the same time. If your machine is working like mine, all I need to do after I get onto the log on page is hit "Home" in the upper-left menu box. It automatically logs me into the forum, on the home page and displays wether I have mail or not. So you shouldn't have to mess around with signing in and the typing the dumb numbers and all.

I know people use all different types of browsers for the net, but I
thought I would just throw it out there that I use firefox. I don't
know how many of you guys use firefox and are still getting problems.

But with firefox, I log into the forum and get to the discussion page,
then just make a tab in firefox for that and it seems to work just fine
for me.

If firefox is new news for some of you, you can get it free at their website, just google it.

I'm having the chat problem too.  I didn't use it very much when I could, but it is a forum issue.
Oh, Yash, I use Firefox on my linux comp.  The forum works on it but some things don't.  Take MSN Spaces for example.  I have a space up and you can see it from the link in my profile.  The thing is that FF doesn't like it, I can't sign in.  I instead have to use Konquer, the native linux web browser.  It's a bit different but FF is definitly more user friendly...ummm...I'm rambling.
