Has anyone tried "Havana" mu’assel?

Recommended Posts

Hello,
Anyone tried "Havana"? Besides your opinion of the taste, what I'd also like to know; is it considered a "strong" tasting shisha?I don't mean nicotine wise, or harsh, but  does the taste smack you, or is it mild?
Thanks. Sheeshabum

Thankyou mushrat....So kind of you

Here's the Havana Flavors I've been smoking for the last couple of weeks that I absolutely love:

Cola,  Mango,  Special Grape,  Lemon,  Cappuccino,  and Pipe.

sheeshabum.....I think you'll be VERY happy with these flavors.  Right now I'm smoking Mango.

The flavors above are all part of my daily rotation,  which also includes:

Al-Fakher Golden Seal Grape,  HookahHookah Orange & Pina Colada,  and Sultan Egyptian Pharaohs.

All of the flavors mentioned are VERY smooth smokes!

 • 2 months later...
I've had the Havana Eskandrani Apple.
I've been asking the Turks to carry the Al-Fakher Eskandrani, but I
think now the rumors of Esk being given to another line has come true.
They mentioned that Havana was a related company to Al Fkaher, and the
packaging for the REGULAR AF (non-Golden Seal) AF is the same as Havana.

As many of you older regulars know, the AF GS Esk has been my ALL TIME FAVORITE.
Well it's no longer available it seems.
So the Havana is somewhat similar by about 70% in flavor, with a strong flowery perfumy taste.
Texture is goupy but not runny, not dry, slight lumber but nothing outrageous.
Smokes very well, luxurious smoke texture when you get it right with
the dense smoke and max flavor. You just need to get the holes/coal
ratio right on.
Recommend resealing in a ziplock baggie.
Chicks would love this smoke. ;P
Overall worth the money.

I also did a review of havana cola, and concluded that it tasted like damp towels. I gave it a 3.5 because the smoke was ok, nothhing special. I rarely use it now, only when i dont wanna waste my better brands.

I smoked some havannah rose awhile ago. One word AMAZING.
Probably the tasties smoke ive had, where the smoke replicates the exact flavour....beats most al-fakher flavours hands down in my opinion...
But ive ONLY had the rose and at 3 pound for a 50gram box, i won't be purchasing anymore :(

yuck.. rose!  lol  I actually threw mine away!

Just shows that you can't trust anyone's opinion on maassel in here.  We all have a very diverse range of tastes in here.

I just discovered a new brand here that's quite impressive.  Don't
know if it's sold in North America under the same or a different
name.  It's made by a company called EMTCO under the label
Loyalina. It's very similar to Fakher with a bit lighter
smoke and just slightly less flavour... but half the price.  The
quality of the tobacco is very high and it gives off a very nice
smoke.  I find that mixing it with Fakher makes the absolute
perfect smoke.

Can't wait to try Fakher cola because I wasn't impressed at all with
Havana's either.  Like another poster said, I found that it starts
off strong, but the flavour just doesn't last and it doesn't produce
very good smoke from my experience.

I've had Havana Cherry and Blackberry. They're both good flavours but I wouldn't say fantastic. For me, the Al Amir brand is a better brand, but then again some don't like Al Amir. It really depends on your taste, the hookah you use and how you prepare. I can't have enough of Al Amir bubble gum or banana split, although all their flavours are very rich. It really depends, I suggest getting some samples of your favourite flavours from a couple different companies and choose that way. Jon
Nope but  do a search on it. Mathazar did quite a few reviews.
But from what I recall' date=' a lot of them were written before he actually tried it.[/quote']

That's too funny, but too true.
