Nour Finger Coals

I have always used 3kings ql's but i ran out over the weekend. I went to a local smoke shop to buy some charcol and all they had were the Nour finger coals. I have never used figer coals before so i had no idea on what the best "techniques" are.

Now i have this giant 22lb bag of finger coals i need to learn how to use.

I am using a medium (i think) funnel bowl. with the 3kings ql' i used to use two of them and place them on opposite sides of my bowl hanging off the edge a little. How do you guys use these finger coals?

Break off 1 1/2" pieces (about two is sufficient) and throw them on a burner of sorts. Electric, gas flame, butane torch, propane torch, whatever. They take some time to get lit so set them on the burner first then set up the pipe. If you're proficient enough, the coals will just start to glow a bit red by the time the pipe is set up well. In the end, they are worth it.

break each stick into 3 pieces. for a med. phunnel it should take 2 to 4 of these pieces ot get the bowl running, depending on the shisha. i smoke predominantly Layalina, and use 3 to 4 pieces ot usually start it off, and then reduce that initial number by 1 for 10 or 15 minutes, then adding it back.

when using 4, make a box on the phunnel, when using 3, make a tirangle that doesnt exactly come together. So if this O is hte bowl, make it /_\ .
