The packages had looked fine, in better shape than the ones I had gotten from PirateHookahs... and the sticks looked the same. But when I fired them up today (tried sticks from each box), every single one got that scaly-skin look and smelled disgusting. The point is that these were all part of the "sale" this dubious vendor was putting on, 3 boxes for $18. Coincidence? Not a chance. Scammed out of $70, including shipping . He will replace my 2 boxes when he gets his next shipment in, so that is cool.One question I would like to know. Did this whole container get held back and no more got out? I think any case in the container that went through that terrible storm would have wrecked anything inside it. The amount of moisture would have ruined the whole container. So if they did let any out from the container,that is the problem, not just the boxes that we could all see were wet. The whole container should have been destroyed. I got 3 boxes from HS today and they are perfect. I am still waiting for a reply from Gabe about another company I got a box of Exoticas from also today.Please before anyone freaks, I am not bashing Exotica, I love the coals, just wondering wtf is going on. Even though other Exotica orders I've received have been fine, even though this was one of the mildest and driest Winters in Canadian history, and even though other customers in the Southern United States have had the same problem...He blames the Canadian climate.
