JillyIsJustKidding
Hey you guys!Well last week, I bought a 250 gram tub of AF grape from my local hookah shop.Smell: Smelled sweeter than sour, unlike the new packagingBUT! When I smoked it, it burned really easily and the bowl didn't taste good after 30 mins. I know it aint my heat managment cuz my other shisha tobacco smoked great with it. No matter what I do, this tastes like burned butt in half an hour ! lol The production date says June 2006...Could that be the reason? It is kinda dry compared to the new packaging AF grape that I bought two months ago.It is pretty juicy, but it is kinda dry compared to the last tub I bought....I actually like the new packaging better, it tastes more like whelchs grape to me imoDoes anyone else have the same prob? HookahDude831
too much heat? And for the sake of literacy try to refrain from using hella
gaia.plateau
I've actually found this to be the very easiest shisha to manage, even easier than Starbuzz...If the packaging indicates that it's a year and half old... that's likely your problem. I pack it to the rim (not too high) and of course leaving a good space between that and the foil
The Devils Playground
I have a rule on Shisha here. 1 year and its stale beer. I am not sure how long a tobacco can hang out and look pretty but I figure a Year is more then long enough.I will have to post a thread how old can tobacco be on average un opened before its just smoke and no flavor.I bought some Romans 1 time in Parumph Nv. And sure enough smokes like a Cali wild fire but had 0 taste. I had to pull over and find some Tobacco in the trunk i had over looked to get a fresh bowl.I will post a thread for this question watch for it. Jamal
You may have had the unlucky batch with alot of stems, usually I find that AF grape lasts a good 1 hour depending on how fresh it is.Also you may never know, the flavour could have been directly under the sun which may have affected the juices.Anyway post pics of the flavour if possible. Bulldog_916
I want to order some Al-Fakher grape, but I'm almost afraid to after hearing so many people saying it tastes like ketchup. I might order some Layalina or Starbuzz. We'll see.+1 on a Northern Californian! Instead of "hella" we usually use "fucking", "like omg", and my personal favorite "awesome duuuuude."
