Mangosteen

Recommended Posts

It's actually pretty fruity. I selected mangosteen and apple bahraini to go with my SS Syrian order a while back, and I mixed a bowl with both of them and it tasted great. I'll probably try it alone sometime in the next week or two.

Btw, mangosteen is a fruit not to be confused with a mango. Edited by Ralleac

I like the Mangosteen flavor. The batch I had was a little weird though... it was kind of oily actually.

Lychee shisha would be really good... I'd imagnie the flavor being mild but with a sugar cane type of sweetness. Have any of you ever had the Mangosteen fruit??? It's damn damn damn good but it's only in dried or juice form here in the states. If any of you live near a trader joes or an organic foods grocery store, go buy yourself a bag of dried Mangosteen just to try it out.

Pfft. Or you could just grow some balls, build yourself a raft, and float down to the Sunda Islands or the Moluccas, where they grow! biggrin.gif

You know, they actually look a lot like caimientos... which taste a lot like lychees. I think Ima order some of this stuff. MNHookah sells Layliana, right?

And hey, good news.

Why isn't there lychee shisha? It's so fucking good. Or Caimiento, caimientos are even better.

theres another fruit/nut that is like lychee (eaten the same way) but it is smaller and has a smooth shell. i like that much better but i dont know the name of it in english. the cantonese translation is "dragon eyes". lol.
