Home Made Mod For Phunnel Bowl?

Recommended Posts

so i got a phunnel bowl but i dont have a mod i jus wanna see if there is a difference but i dont wanna pay 12 bucks for a lil thing the size of a penny so i was wondering if there was anything i can do to make a cheap homemade mod...

i read somewhere someone used the aluminum from a tea light ... i could try that...or i was thinkin of jus using a crap load of layered foil and makin my own? if anyone has any suggestions let a sister know! thanks guys...happy smokin!

If you are filling thr bowl o the top, you just don't need one.

But someone up there was right, the original was just something Scalli came up with one day messing around with pipe cap...funny to see something go from DIY to masss produced, and then back to DIY to save the money. Sorry he didn't patent that sucker, he'd have made a fair chunk of change.

I just poke one hole over the center hole and it works great. perhaps you aren't packing it right. One of the finest innovations I've found for the hookah, kless heat, longer smokes, just gotta learn to do it right. wink.gif

the mod is a waste of money, i poke holes all over the phunnel, there is no difference what so ever besides foil never getting sucked in (which never happened before to me either shrug)

Although I've never used one (but I have one on order), theoretically wouldn't it give a significant advantage if you're not packing a full bowl? Looking at airflow with and without it seems that the difference would be huge.
