danionita
Hello, I am new here.I own a small, simple hookah, i bought it from an arab guy, just out of curiosity, an been in love with it ever since. Now, i would like to buy a new one , but where I live (Romania - Eastern europe), these things aren't very popular and I'm keen on buying a really good, quality one.problem is, my hookah has gotten pretty popular with my friends too, so we always smoke in large groups. This is why i would really want a 4-hosed one! Please, if anyone can point me to a shop that sells 4-hose hookhas ( WITH self-seal system, otherwise it would be pointless..) AND is based in europe, that delivers to the Romania, I would be very grateful!!I'm afraid to order from the states because i don't want to pay the HUGE customs taxes my country imposes on stuff like this, and not keen on getting it seized for mislabeling either...ANY help will be very apreciated!! shisha fan
www.shisha-world.com, but don`t buy tobacco there (you`ll have to add glycerin)
manic007
I agree with shisha-fan I'd definetely recommend shisha-world. I ordered my Mya QT on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday! That's from Germany to the UK, well packaged and no problems. They're also fast answering emails and have a good range on offer. There is one issue with the site, you sometimes have to press the german to english translation button a few times before it changes (as noticed in Internet Explorer and Opera). danionita
Yeah, well u'r probably right, but try smoking your hookah at a party with 10+ people swarming around it! very unpleasant, especially when all the comotion around it causes it to fall over.I've had coals melt though carpet and couch, base broken. Just thought if i am going to buy a good, expensive hookah, 4 long hoses will decrease the risk of accidents ! Plus, I figured that if I go for one with an auto-seal system on each hose and a triple bowl, the overall smoke quality won't be that low! I also thought that a four hose one will be more unique and impressive!! Thanks a lot for the links guys, you are great!Problem is, on hookhasworld.com, the only 4-hoser I found was this one Looks kinda cheap and too small for 4-hoses... ??On shisha-world.com however i found about 4 models. 2 i really liked: aladin gecko and aladin diwan Unfortunately both are out of stock aparently... The other 2 are kind of expensive (100 EUR) considering the 30 EUR shipping rate: MYA Deluxe MYA Saturn They are also smaller than the aladin models.well, i'm looking forward to your oppinions...I am very exited to get a now hookah, but I can't seem to find anything that is actually worth it!?anyone have a sugestion ?!Thanks again for all your help...hope shisha-world updates their stock soon coz i can't wait much longer!! shisha fan
i would get the mya saturn, it has the same base as the mya paragon (which means it still has thick glass). and i think it looks really cool.
ZenSilk
my smoke quality is the same when i make my mya into a one hoser. It's usually a four cause i'm a good host and i understand people are Americans.

Surely your joking! Why not just buy one large bowl? It'll be so much less hassle and you can still mix different tobacco to get that desired flavour. But regarding hookahs, I've only just jumped onto the Mya bandwagon, I have a QT and its easily the best smoke I've ever had! Search this forum, or the net, and you'll find so many great reviews for Myas'. So yes, if you want some sort of "guarantee of quality" then you should go with the Mya Saturn, it has everything you're looking for. However, I'm not so sure that sharing one hookah among 10 people is such a good idea? Surely with so many people drawing from the pipe the tobacco will start to cook? If I had that many people I'd be tempted to get more than 1 hookah. I'd probably talk to my friends, ask them if they want to buy some hookahs themselves, and leave them over my house so we can all smoke together. That isn't such a crazy idea, I used to leave my hookah with some friends. They had their own shisha but I prefered mine since they *never* cleaned theirs!. And it worked out really well, I used to hang out at their house all the time, so it made sense.Or alternatively if you +really+ want the 4 hose one, and your friends are always around your place, then maybe you could ask them to chip in? If only 4 people chip in 10EUR each, it'll help a bit.But if I was you bro, I'd think about this for a bit longer. Talk to your friends, see what they think, show them the Mya Saturn, and ask yourself: Will all my mates still want to be smoking in 6months time, or is this just a fad for us? And does *everyone* really want to smoke? And think about the other option - getting people to buy their own! If you all order from shisha-world I think the delivery cost is lower than seperate orders.Hope this help, good luck

jerrysalem
Are you SURE about the customs, i mean in reality? I am in the Czech Republic and so far have not had to pay any duty on anything that's come directly to my house. If it comes to my office, they did charge customs. Romania is nice, I was in Bucharest on business a few years ago and we were treated very well by the country manager, great night out, great people and great food. I think Bucharest is really on it's way up these days.
manic007
danionita, it sounds like you and your friends will make the most of a decent hookah I apologise if it sounded like I was implying that you weren't serious about shisha smoking, it wasn't my intention.Have you thought about buying a 2 hose shisha? I think that's a good compromise. What do other people think?

I'm aware about what most people think about my country...:| eh...so what, in my oppinion the poeple matter most..you get used to the shitty stuff after a while.Plus, every country has this kind of things more or less! The thing is, I've orderd stuff over the internet before. If they come from inside the EU they either ask me to come to the loacl post office to pick it up (if sent thorugh standard mail) or it comes directly to my place ( by international courier). The problem is with orders outside the EU. I've ordered some clothes form the states and I had to report to the customs office to pay the due taxes:about 30% customs and 19% VAT which was pretty much half the value of the package!!And this is , presuming they don't have some extra charges for tobacco with all the smoking bans and taxes going on around the EU?! Just thought: man this would really spice up my parties!:DGuess I'm gonna go with the compromise , or maybe a cool 3-hosed one if i can find it. My guess is it;s best to order form a UK site , where I can get some decent tobacco too (not the dry german type )Thanks for the tips!;) I really dig this forum! jerrysalem
Ech, I thought the Czechs were bad with this, I think the government people smell money whenever a package comes in from overseas and that really sucks for you. One thing that hookah-shisha did for me was to accidentally ship it to switzerland. In Switzerland they just repacked it and sent it here, and it looked as if it came from within europe. Of course CH is not in the EU, but they are mainland europe. I dont know if this will work with them, probably not, and then you have the switzerland to you issue. Do you travel on business to the states ever? When I do, which is not often, it becomes major shopping trip. I hate to say it, maybe you could get creative, check out the funhouse, and make your very own hookah. You can do it and it may work alot better than you think. Outside of that, it's duty time-some places will reduce the actual amount for you on the invoice.
