(Just pulling things out of my ass at this point.) Although any type of mint used to do that to me.

mushrat
hmm...could the mint be opening up your lungs (you know what I mean, bronchial dialator?)) thus allowing more nicotine absorbtion? The first mistake may have been smoking the Nakhla mint in the forst place mind you... Hey now...Nakhla mint was one of my first flavors, and is thus very dear to me. Also, when I'm strapped for cash, the price is hard to argue with. jerrysalem
I never even knew before this board opened my eyes up about any other shisha or the differences between the brands. Matt, please give Al Fakher a try. I bought alot of Nahkla mint in 50mg boxes and after AF there is no comparison, Nahkla is drier and doesn't taste anywhere near as good. Just my two cents. Codename067
One of my Phunnel bowls that I user every now and then packs a good 45-50 grams of Tobacco, I pack that when I got a good 3 hours of smoking ahead of me. I use the Nakhla mint only as a filler to the bowl, say, if it was under packed, i just throw some of that mint to make things right again. After smoking that mint by its self, i never tried it again. Its fairly dryer than most of the flavors that I smoke too.

Well, I'm not sure I'd call it "my stuff." Since I discovered more premium brands (and graduated from college and found a steady job) I hardly ever smokeit any more. I was actually mostly joking myself. Damn interwebs and the lack of ability to effectively convey sarcasm...
Dr. Atkins
Just because it's cheap, doesn't make Nakhla not a premium brand... their Mandarin is unmatched.
erufiku
The whole concept of premium brands is kinda fuzzy if you ask me... To each his own
