clay584
I have a fairly large hookah and whenever I smoke with my friends I'm always afraid that someone is going to knock it over or pull it over with the hose. Besides the little rubber vase protectors, is there anything that I can do to help stabilize the base so it will not fall over? Any help is appriciated. Codename067
Not that I know of.Just put it somewhere where its least likely to get tipped over.
Bryantos
Depending on the base you have, you could put some extra weight near the base. Rotators have a metal base, and you could probably put weights on that. For a glass base, though... I have no idea.
clickhea
make a little table for itwhere you cut out a hole in the center of the table and allow the base of the hookah to sit half way down where it rests on a lower tray.
GiantSquid
Try setting it in a large bucket full of ice. Aside from keeping it steady, it will also cool your smoke down quite a bit.

Gold Wing Gunner
whenever I go to a friends I take my regular hose, and my 10ft mod hose. The 10footer usually keeps people from pulling it over if that helps. Check out the hose mod threads
