jerrysalem
Not to start any p....... contests over 'my OS is better than yours'....I just want to let people know that you CAN run only Windows on your Intel MacBook IF you so choose. All you do is put in your Windows install disk, and when they ask you about the other partitions, delete them all and just when you are done allocate that nice big raw disk to XP/Vista, and format it (quick) with NTFS. I got rid of Vista as it is slow and I don't like how it does things. The search is abysmal, IMHO. XP is not as pretty but it is fast on a Macbook, and is well tested. And my Canon CP-200 works under it but not under Vista.Point is, it CAN be done, if you want to.And, yes, I had Vista running before under Boot Camp, but it was slow to start up especially service pack 1 beta-DONT install it, you will wait for ages for startup. And yes I did try to install XP under boot camp 8 times or so before finally deciding that for the small amount of time I am in Mac OS X, it's not worth the trouble. Not to knock OS X, fine operating system, but I have been using Windows forever and just am very used to it and it works for me.
