hookah hippie
I consider starbuzz to be a premium tobacco. Though I find $20 a little steep. It can usually be bought for about $50 for three cans. About $16 a piece. Its pretty good but expensive so it isn't my everyday smoke
SafeSearchOff
20 is WAYYY too much. wont even step near it.tangiers, layalina, al fakher. my star lineup
D00M
I just paid $10 for a 100g tin of Starbuzz... Have yet to smoke it yet though, so I can't really tell you how good of a deal that is.
staygone
20 is a bit much, I only get blueberry from Starbuzz though. 50 for three is a meh kind of deal.-QM
waterboi
Starbuzz is def considered a premium shisha. I smoke SB sometimes. It has good flavor and juicy. Although 20 a tin is steep. I try and buy the 3 for 50 deal when i order some
Luke69
I really like starbuzz. I suggest that if you do plan to carry it, sell it in sample packs too. Most people are wary to dish out 20$ for something they havent tried. I think its definately premium.
Texico
I smoke Starbuzz if someone else buys it. I won't ever buy it for myself, though. Al Waha, Layalina, and Golden AF for me right now. Once I get my own place and I can start using naturals it'll be all about the Tangiers though. All the Starbuzz I've ever had has been right on par with my Layalina (my main buy), so I'll stick with mine.
Santino
Personally it's not my taste, I enjoy their white peach and x on the beach (to an extent, before the flavor just gets boring) but other than that, it's really not worth the price tag. I can tell you that regardless of the price, people will pay it by virtue of name alone. There ARE better made tobaccos out there, but hey, we're talking business, if it makes dollars, it makes sense. Voski
I find a hard time coughing up $15-$24 for Starbuzz when I can get AF for 8 dollars. I like some of the SB flavors though.Edit: I have a hard time paying a lot for it too since I know how much it sells for wholesale Edited January 24, 2008 by voski
mitchell8621
I won't touch it for $20 a tub...I would much rather smoke something not quite as good for a much more reasonable price...
erufiku
Well, I bought a tin after hearing how orgasmic the stuff is on this forum. After trying it I have to admit that the flavour is good, but gets soapy after a few session. In short, I don't think I'll be buying any more in the future. Definitely not for $20/tin.Although if there were 100g packs available, for, say 8$, I would pick a few up just to have a larger variety of flavours in my stash. Dr. Atkins
The only flavor worth the $$ for Starbuzz is the Pumpkin Pie.Other than that it's all about Tangiers, Al Fakher, Layaline, and Nakhla (and Al Waha for Bounty flavor).

EternalSoil
you have to think about who we are though...we have knowledge of other brands as well that we think are better (some of us do at least)starbuzz sells at $20 a tin, not to me, but to many.so many sites have it because it it a pretty big seller.people want the candy flavors that they have. staygone
Nice article, I read one about playing classical music in restruants that made people spend more money than normal on their dinner. Makes you feel classy,-QM
spoolinspoon
Starbuzz everyday, all day.
gaia.plateau
I don't think Starbuzz is worth $20, personally. I've tried a few flavours... the taste very often dissipates early and/or turns into a mucky, almost perfumy version of the original flavour...Al Fakher has better flavour, Tangiers has better flavour and better smoke, and both for nearly 1/2 the price. oolatec
For some of their flavors that nobody else has, I'll splurge once in awhile.Working on Lemon Tea and Pumpkin Pie still. Next I think I'll give Blue Mist a try. Sounds yummy. As for whether or not it's worth the $20... I really don't think so.If I need to buy quite a bit for a party or something, I'll usually go with AF/Layalina/Al Ajamy etc. Edited January 24, 2008 by oolatec
Bryantos
QUOTE (SafeSearchOff @ Jan 23 2008, 07:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>20 is WAYYY too much. wont even step near it.tangiers, layalina, al fakher. my star lineup+1, without the tangiers. The fabulous Ian
It's got a nice flavor, and a great smoke if you're looking for taste without buzz, but it's definitely not worth twenty a tin.
Plain Old Me
I have to say that Starbuzz is pretty much my main smoke. For smoke quality and taste, I simply have not had anything else close (though I also like HookahHookah tobacco). I wouldn't pay more than around $15 for 250g though, and I get mine for even less than that.
guyt
I bet whole sale price is something like 5 bucks.About that article, its so true. The restaurant I work at charges a rediculous price for wine. We buy a case for $24 and sell them for $22 a bottle. People still think its good shit because its expensive in the supermarket and on the wine list. So it must be good, right? dumbasses
