Headache From Nour Coals

i've been running htem in the bar for 2 days now, smoking my hookah most of the day and no problems so far...

Not really, but I never was a huge fan of these coals, they burn much faster than exotica and are very crumbly and ashy.

thats weird. i felt like the exoticas burned faster than any other fingered coal ive used. and ash was about the same.

Any way i wont be buying them for the way they ash alone.

i didn`t get a headache from them, but they do smell like death (at least the batch i got). and they have little particles in them that don`t burn.

Ya, im going to have to try yet another coal..these just aren't like i remember them. I'm getting buried in ash here going through a bag or more a night.

No bad smell though.

i love nours. they r teh RAWK.

you guys must have been getting magical nours, because all of the nours i ever got have been this bad. i have 2 bags unused because they are complete garbage. they ash over in yellow after 5-10mins and are unsmokable unless you bang the ash off. if you smoke with them ashed over it adds a harshness i cannot handle.

Ya, they do burn yellow and ya they ash like a mofo. But they still Burn clean and don't add a flavour. They also don't last very long and are not very dense, so I guess I'm still looking for a permenant coal for the bar.

Your best bet is to get natural coals from your local hookah place. I always get plastic bags full that last me a month for $5.00. Most owners have huge bags of natural coals in the back that they light for there customers, just ask an employee how much a bag full will cost. Usually they try to push the kind they sell over the counter..."nour" for example but if there cool they'll hook you up...

hmn. something must have changed cause i used to use nours and never had any of those problems...
