Al Fahker Coals

Recommended Posts

They are standard lemon wood coals. Personally I don't like them. They come in all different shapes and sizes so it is hard to find the right shape/size you need. They are hard to break. They have a heavy charcoal smell when you light them. They go out occasionally, and burn fast.

+1 to everything he said except going out and burning fast. in the 2 sessions Ive had theyve lasted longer than my 3k ql and havent gone out. maybe thats because they were constantly getting sucked but thats my experience.
all in all get exoticas or something.

I have a 1kg bad of romman natural coals and they sucked so I tried the 2kg bag of AF and they are ok nowhere as good as exoticas and they make your hands black when you reach in the bag to grab them, they have kinda a smell when your smoking and they aren't the easiest to light, but they are definitely not the worst I have tried... my input.

I haven't had the best of experiences with lemon wood charcoal. I feel like they add a little bit of flavor, kind of floral-y. The smaller pieces are usable but hard to manage and they ash A LOT. A weird white, flaky ash. I can't say if this is true so much about AF's.
