Grommet Too Small

alright, i have a KM and i have an old egytian base but when i place the KM stem on it the stem doesn't fit snug. It's really loose and i can't find a bigger grommet. Any suggestions? With my current base, i put some vaseline around the grommet and it slides right in and makes a tight seal.

plumbers tape. wrap it under the grommet directly onto the base of the stem. (beneath the heart above the downstem)

electrical tape usually makes for a tight fit. and if that doesn`t work tere are alot of sites that sell spare gommets in all sizes.

yeah right now im having the same problem and i just posted about it and got to different idea, one route to try as Camelflage said is the tape but i was also given this advice from Rani as seen in red

"Hookah Company has these stretchy grommets from Mya that you layer one on top of the other until you get a perfect fit. They recommend three for a medium base, four for a large. www.hookahcompany.com I've heard they work great and plan on ordering some myself just to have for future use. I also had to replace a base and got lucky because I had a "finned" grommet around that works perfectly. I doubt I'll be so lucky again, so I figured I'd buy a few of the stretchy ones to have against future mishaps.

I use strapping or masking tape myself around the bottom of the stem, then add the grommet. Works great...
