Lakemonster
Well.. I got all my preppin doe.. everything is nailed down around here. I needed to go in to town today and pick up my pay for the week...... so I stopped by the head shop... to my surprise.... they had a new shipment in. I walked out with a box of Romman Peach and one of Romman Raspberry. 1 kilo of Romman natural coals and 2 rolls of Golden. Next stop: liqour store for a bigass bottle of Vodka... some ice and drink mix. Might as well make the best of it.

MR Bubble
Lakemonster, you have this in Tyler? I accused Tyler of looking like a nice little place, but damn, I never imagined..... I was so tempted to stop off for some alcoholic goodies myself, but decided against it. I know I'm going to get my butt slapped here and I need to be somewhat alert due to the kids. Judging by the wind direction, when those 2 big pines come down, they are headed for the house. Question for someone experienced in this: If it rains through my roof, is that considered flooding that would require flood insurance? Good luck yall, MR Bubble
mushrat
Im not experienced with this, but I was reading the paper where several insurance companies in LA and Ms were beinng sued by the federal govt. for misleading policies. Seems much of the damage was called flooding by the insurers, letting them off the hook. The feds say its storm surge and rain damage, therefore the insurance companies ARE liable. Going to be an unpleasant fight. I's say hope the damage is from above and not below...or even better hope for no damage. I understand its down to a cat. 3. Still bad news. Good luck. Lakemonster
Bubble..... no its not flooding.... the damage would be caused by the tree and residual damages should fall under your homeowners content. Have to ask a buddy of mine thats an agent to be certain tho. Tyler used to have no such thing as a head shop... it was way too out there for the churches. Up until a few days ago....all I could get locally was Al-waha... or overpriced 250's of Nakhla (sp) I feel your pain on the trees part. Im praying the wind doesnt get up too high. Ive got three pines in range of the front of the house and 4 oaks real close to the house. Hope the root structure is good and deep. Hey. at least this thing has downgraded..... hoping everyone gets out real light.

MR Bubble
HAppy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, You look like a monkey, and you smell like one too! Happy Birthday lakemonster!! I'm starting my regression stage in life now. I'm slowly reverse-engeneering. Thanks for the tips. Hopefully we will be fine. I'm going by Katrina research here, but, there was a certain latitude at which she stopped being a little bitch, and we both fall roughly around that same latitude. I'm hoping the forcasted wind gusts at 75 or 80 mph is a little over-hype. Be good and best of luck, MR Bubble
cypress
IF the tree falls down and hits ur roof that is considered wind dammage. You need to fight that the wind caused the tree to fall and it rained in your house if that happenes. Flood dammage is only when water gets in your house due to water rising. I hope nothing happpens and if it does I hope you have a good insurance company.
