Attaching A Hose

i am making a hookah out of an old bottle i have in my house and just wanted to get some advice on how i could attach a hose to the bottle. i dont want it to be perm. so i was thinking i could use a hose grommet and glue that into the hole in the bottle and then insert the hose into the grommet when i want the hose in there. i just wanted to know what everyone thought about my idea, if you have any others please post.

what kind of hose?

if its a mya, unscrew the part tha goes into hookahs, bo to a hardware storem, and find a screw-in part that works on it. then drill a hole that size into your bottle, permanently affix that part, and then you can screw ur mya hosei n at anytime

Doing this will have no stability on the hose, it would wiggle and fall off.

Sound like safe's idea can fix that issue.

Or, just drill a hole and forget the hose, suck right through it.

Also I would like to point you to the DIY section of the forums...lotsa great tricks in there, but you could go an buy some pipe fitting from a hardware store and make it into an old school hard hose hookah

I don't know about one that would go for it per say, but I'm a cobra fan
