I think I remember my grandfather (dad's dad) telling me that we've got a very trace amount of Native American blood (sorry, can't remember the exact tribe), but it's so minuscule that I doubt the validity until I see a pedigree or family tree. Some of my neighbors and students are from Syrian and several have reddish tinges in their hair and lighter eyes. Really beautiful coloring!
