Hobo Hookah Revisited

I made a bowl the other day on my Mya Gyro, and for some reason (maybe too much ice? I used 2 trays) it was actually harsh, I had to use more coal.

So, for a change, I tried my Hobo Hookah on the plastic bottle they give you, and it was really nice and smooth. Same tabak, Romman Apple.

For some reason, it seems more foolproof and not as finicky about working. It pulls a little harder but always seems to give a really good amount of smoke.

Anyone else find the same results?

sounds like too much heat on the Mya. Or, like you said, too much ice. There wasn't enough water, it was displaced by the ice, therefore your smoke wasn't pulled through the water and was harsher.

Or both those reasons. I'm sure Hobohookahs are fantastic, but not fantastic like bigger rigs.

I'm thinking waaaaaaaay too much ice. Two trays?! The very cold smoke will hurt. I know this from experience.
