Smoking In My Room..

Im new to hookah and i recently made a purchase.
Havent gotten it yet but..
Does hookah smoke linger in a room for a while??
Will i be good just leavin a window open and a fan on for a while?

I smoke in my dorm all the time and i don't open a window i just put a fan on and it lingers for a little while but if you open a window it will go away quickly. I just don't open my window because it is cold here and the cold air sucks all the air from my room into the hallway. It doesn't stay like cigarettes its gone in maybe an hour

How big is your room? If it's a "regular" sized bedroom of around 12' x 14' then you will be okay smoking if you open the window. I've smoked in my room a bunch of times with the windows closed and the smell lingers until morning. The smell doesn't really 'stick' to things but more of lingers in the air until it has been circulated out. With your fan on and window open you shouldn't have any issues.

Yea my rooms decent size and i have a huge window.
But im in washington and its freakin cold right now.
Been snowing all day. XD
Oh well all i hope is that the shipping trucks will deliver my freakin hookah already!

yea i went to a party up in seattle for halloween and there someone had a hookah there.
tried it and my relpy was "WERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?" lol
it was mixed fruit and tasted like i was smokin fruit punch..
finally got some money to buy my own!

IMO, some tobaccos leave scents that can take a day or two to clear out at most, but for the most part you should be fine with any scent gone in ~2 hours.

yeah, i know if someone lights up a cig in a room the smell lingers for a long time if not perminantly. But the pleasent smell of hookah should leave in an hour or two, if u ventilate it. otherwise the smell might sit for a little while longer

It WILL travel through out the house, my hookah does at least when I smoke it on my room. Average size room you can say.

i've noticed that the coal leaves more of a smell than the sheesh does. i smoke in my apartment all the time, no windows open cause it's cold as balls. when i smoke at night, by the time i'm up the next morning its all gone.

all you gotta do is get an old ceramic coffe mug you don't use anymore. light the coal outside and bring them back in in the mug. works like a charm

Hmm guess i can put a towel up against the bottom of the door so nothing gets out and spreads among the house.
Ive heard about ppl smoking in their dorm rooms the only thing they forgot about was the smoke alarm. lol

i am NOT allowed to smoke in my parent's family room. my mom is like a smoke smelling NAZI. she sniffed out a guy that was smoking in a diner more than 50 feet away in a completely different wing of the diner.


throw a towel under the door.
throw a window in front and behind of you open about 2 inches
when your done throw open 3 windows fully, for at least 30 minutes.


it will never smell.

I smoke in our apartment all the time, granted it's a large room. No linger at all, I just get the occassional, "Jesus! What are you smoking up there? It smells delicious!" from our neighbor lol. Really should have him up here for some of this AF cola goodness. Oh and my parents HATE ay kind of smoking and have been over and didn't notice a thing.
