Whokah333
i am looking at purchasing a MYA acrylic hookah which costs only 35 dollars new. my only worry is that it screws into the base but the screw part appears to be flexible plastic as opposed to adurable material. will this weaken the seal? what are your opinions of acrylic hookahs in general. i am leaning toward one only because it seems to be inexpensive compared to glass hookahs and i am in a college dorm so i dont want a fragile glass base. HAKOOH
My first hookah was acrylic. This was a few years back when they first started getting popular. And to this day i still have it. Its been through incredible stuff and its still standing and smoking great today. These bases are the best thing to happen to dorm rooms. I bought my sister one for her dorm and its given them no problems at all. These bases are great.

Molson
i love my acrylic base simply because its not fragile. if the hookah tips i don't have to worry bout the glass breaking (just the coals hehe) the seal on mine seams super tightand strong although if you over do it you could strip the threads but its not really an issue as long as you use your head

Brad
Mya puts their logo on pretty much every piece of their hookahs: stem, base, tray, etc.
Sean
Most everyone here has read my opinion of acrylics. They are the best you can get. Cleanup, durability, idiot proof, awesome in general. if you have a source for an MYA for 35.00 buy it and email me the link so I can get a second one.
