The point that you should be paying attention to is that in countries without universal healthcare, the government can save the wealthy from many natural occurences, such as a dismembered limb or a brain tumour, but they will not save the poor or even middle class citizen. That isn't right.

You pay taxes in exchange for services, it isn't theft. There are plenty of other nations to live in, and you can always move into the woods to remain in the states and keep all your money.

1. No, it isn't right, and I think that the government shouldn't touch it in general... they should stop stealing our money, and then we could fend for ourselves. In any system the government favors the rich... largely because governments are controlled mainly by the rich.

2. Yes, we pay taxes in exchange for services... kinda like business owners pay the mob in exchange for "protection". Besides, most of those tax dollars never go towards helping the taxpayers... especially in the US right now because of this war. Sure, they say that they're "fighting terrorism" and protecting American lives... but we've lost many more lives in this war than we did on 9/11, and have had several times as many injured.
There are plenty of other nations, but they're no better really. Besides, moving countries is easier said than done when one has family. And yes I could move into the woods, but that wouldn't help fix anything.

But then again, my one buddy lives in a semi ritzy area(whithall, right by the local highschool), he got busted smoking NHT in his driveway.
