Should I Use My Brush?

Recommended Posts

So my brother bought a hookah off some guy. Let's just say the shisha wasn't even opened but the hookah was used. Anyway, I used my brush to try to clean the vase. Didn't work at all. I think my brush might be contaminated. Think it is OK to use on my hookahs??? Will it contaminate my vases???

Go spend $5.00 on a small bottle Bling 420 cleaner etc... Pour it in swish it around and it will remove everything. Hell buy a big bottle use just a bit and every time you want to clean your hookah use some of that stuff. i scrubbed a hookah for 20 minutes last night. Then I sawe Hollys secret weapon on my hookah residue. She was using 420 cleaner. In like 20 seconds all the stuff I could not scrub off was gone like a teenagers morals.

Best advice-clean everything immediately after every use, every time you use it. I've been thru the 'blech' part of smoking thru dirty hoses and shafts etc and it's tough enough to get a really good smoke without worrying about everything else being dirty.

My cousin who I thought really knew hookahs confided to me he rarely changes his water much less cleans his shaft/hose etc. I ended up teaching him and getting more info than i never realized from our great forum smile.gif

as far as using it on your own hookah, i'd say chunk it up as a loss and get a new brush. but yea hookah care is important i clean mine after every time i use it no matter what.

greased lightning is non-toxic and would probably work as well.

So my brother used some greased lightning on his hookah and that thing came out spotless. I'm gonna use it to clean my brushes before I clean my hookahs. I just hate the idea of having even a hint of NHT in my hookah.
