Quick Lite Coals?

Recommended Posts

so i usually get myself 3 kings 33mm quick lite coals but recentl;y have noticed that the price has gone up. i am not looking to get the fingers or natural coals. but can someone recommend a coal that is a as good if not better than the 3 kings ones. i like them because of the heat and that they do not break apart when lighting them. thanks guys

You could get some Ahkla coals, I get them for a dollar a roll at my local shop, or golden coals. Anything else I feel you might sacrifice quality.

I like my starlight coals

Eck! Lol

Those were the first charcoals I ever bought when I first started. After trying out naturals...I seriously noticed how nasty SLs were. They seriously imparted the taste and the smell while lighting was nauseating lol

Then, I tried 3 kings and I finally knew why everyone raved about them. Sure, they took longer to light than SLs, but the smell while lighting wasn't as bad and I couldn't really taste a "chemical" taste.

Hehe I bought a box of 3K yesterday from my local shop (used to be $10 now its $11.99 which sucks) so I can smoke with my nou nou in my car

so natural coals give better heat or do you get a better amount of smoke from them? jujst wondering i think i may have to try them. but here in north east PA it is hard to find them anywhere.

I notice they impart no flavor most of the time on the shisha. Right now, I'm using either exoticas or Rolland naturals. But some people are raving about the Coco Nara coals. If you want some good naturals that produce great heat and dont impart any flavor on your smoke, go for Exoticas. You want cheap naturals, go for a bag of Rollands. So far I havent been disappointed with either. Edited by Bulldog_916
