KillZedKill
Ok, so I started a metal band with my brother, (lead guitar) my good friend Jeremy (on bass) and myself, (rhythm guitar). We found a drummer, and are still looking for someone with a good set of pipes to do our vocals. The recordings on our page are done with a crappy little PC microphone from my old Nintendo 64 game "Hey you Pikachu". Haha!Anyway, tonight we just finished our 5th song, and recorded an entire acoustic set without drums or vox. The acoustic stuff isnt uploaded yet, but it might be at somepoint.Add us on myspace and support us if youd like. Devouring the Fallen, Myspace page.PS, were in California. Bulldog_916
Pretty good fellas. I'd like to come out and have a smoke with you all, you guys arent more than 20 minutes from me. I go down to the Sonora area all the time fishing on the river. Forward me a good gathering spot and we'll chill.
Geiseric
If you just started recording and are short on cash (I assume that is why you are using an awful mic), I recommend spending 80$ on the Blue Snowball. You won't have to front the cash on a decent mix board to even up your levels, its latency is practically null, unlike a lot of usb-based equipment, and its a pretty decent condenser mic with extremely variable levels. Its pretty much the sound quality you can expect from the Blue line, but in a form anyone can use, without having to invest in expensive equipment. Apparently its really sweet. We just havn't bothered with better recordings yet cause were still writing a lot.
