yeah, it is... i like screw on bases kinda though. And the paint on the glass, will that chip!?

Yes it is, and i just bought the very same hookah I gotta say that i love the thing. With a nammor hose from HS the pull is just so smooth and even. It isn't the most fragile base ever, but its not the toughest chunk of glass ive ever felt. Other then that its a very sturdy hookah, even with the Nammor hose on the thing i havent seen it even start to tip yet.

Also of course being a mya it all comes apart, and makes for easy cleaning. The actual case that comes with it is a bit different in the picture, and its not the sturdiest thing ever, but i leave the foam mya pad that is in it when u get it in there and i keep my nammor hose in it as well, and it works well and keeps the hookah protected.

All in all im utterly in love; you can get the same level of quality for cheaper, but i just love the looks of mya hookahs, to me standard egyptians just can't compare, and i gladly pay the extra price to get the looks this bad boy has

if the base breaks though, i can buy a Pyramid vase like the one on the vortex hookah from mya saray right?? it should fit ? Edited February 6, 2008 by Switch

Any MYA base of similar size will fit including the non-screw bases, you just need to get a base grommet.
