zachslusser
So i just got some exotica coals and i was wondering what is the best way to break them so they do not shatter/ crumble? thanks Zach
resixpromo
What I do is take a serrated knife and carve into enough to get it to stick in the coal and then push pressure on it to break off. I usually will break the coals into 3 pieces.

zeppyrkr
well they get some black over the hands and such but a wet paper towel will clean any coal mess up in seconds, i score mine with a knife and just break them with my hands.

EternalSoil
bite them off with my teeth.ok, maybe not, use serated tong to core them then break them with hands or you can put them on the edge of a table and karate chop them. this works too >
