EmeraldCity83
Hi there, I am a newbee at this and I would love some advice....... As a gift from a friends I was given a nearly 6ft tall Brass Huka it is in need of a new hose but it is almost completly intact. I havn't gotten a pic of it yet but plan on doing so as soon as I can get my hands on a dig-cam. This thing is awsome. I had no idea what to do with it so as of right now its just a very interesting conversation pice in my living room. Aparently this friend of mine went to turky and had it imported to the us pice by pice and then left it in his garage here in the us. He didn't want it any more but didn't want to sell the item. As well, he said that at one point a man offered him a rather large sum of money for the item seeing as how it is very extravagent. This is all what I have been told and the item could be worth nxt to nothing as far as I know...but I would love to learn about the item to see what I can find out about this reare new item in my possesion. I would love to learn about the types of tobacoo used to smoke in it as well as how to prepare the item. I am in the process of polishing the brass which has gotten a little dingy over the years in this mans garage. I also need to know what items are good for cleaning the inside as well as what I can use to replace parts like the hose seening as its a rather ornate hose with woden mouth pice as well as the bass that plugs into the huka itself. It has never been used and I would love to be the first to try out this unique brass huka. Please if you have any information about hukas (especially Brass) please let me know you can contact me here or at Etta_Day@yahoo.com Thanks so much, your willing student!
