wow wow wow! lets not exagurate (spelling??) here.... i`m starting my 5 bowl today... that means i`m stuped? i think not.... i usually smoke 5 bowls 3 days a week... (the weekends....) unless i`m on vacation (like now)... and i would say that the average bowl amount per day while i`m on a vacation is 5 bowls...
 
well it could be a health risk but i also like bikes (bicycle) "trials" mostly and lately into "freeride"... so sports is kind of a way of making up for the smoking... i wouldn`t say that 5 is that much... older people who have nothing to do smoke up to 10 a day every day.... and still living.... don`t forget that hookah is not like a cegarette! unlike cigarrette the hookah doesn`t actually burn its more of a "cooking" process... and the water does filtrate most of the bad stuff... and the companys don`t add no chemicals unlike the cogarrette manufacturors that add chemicals to make the smoke less harsh and the smoking more adicting...!

i also have some realllyy BAD headaches - EMPHASIS ON THE REALLY BAD -
my heart starts racing as soon as i get up and moving. i think the
underlying problem is that the flavour dries up and your smoking good
old coal and CM poisining . now  i take nice stops in between my goes and pass the shisha around more often.

I've got a few tricks for avoiding headaches whilst smoking hookah. First and foremost, BREATHE! If you're going to spend a couple of hours inhaling smoke, it certainly makes sense to fill your lungs with "clean" air every now and again. I prefer to take 3-4 nice deep breaths in between drags. It feels great to fill your lungs with air, and breathing is always good. Ever since I started doing this, I've not had problems with headaches.If you can't/won't take some deep breaths every now and again, another trick I've learned from smoking from "tobacco" pipes is to open your mouth around the mouthpiece and mix some air into the smoke while you're inhaling. This helps not only with air intake, but also with one's ability to take nice big hits off the hookah (or whatever else you're smoking out of ). It also helps to take a partial hit and then breathe in some air until your lungs are full, and then exhale.Finally, and this ties into the first trick, take it SLOW. Smoking hookah is not something that is meant to be rushed, and by giving yourself a break in between hits you give your body (which was not designed to breathe smoke) a chance to get some much-needed oxygen. Take a break if you need to. Go to the bathroom, or get a drink, or post to the forum. Do whatever it is you need to do in order to give your lungs a rest. You really don't need to take one massive hit after another, and your head will surely appreciate this.

Thats one o fthe reasons i don't generally smoke alone. I smoke way too much that way. I keep it as a social activity when friends are over, or when there is a party and I pack it up and take it with me.
