Phunnel Bowl (sorry If Spellings Bad)

Hey every one, i think this is my first real post (have done some stuff in the review section...), so hellow to eveyone.

Ok, so i'm having my friend make a phunnel bowl in ceramics class because he's really good, and i was just wondering what are some of the dimensions, or some demensions you would recomend. The large one (which is what i'm goin for) on Hookah Company has a full diameter of 3", but what about the inside hole, and the depth of the bowl. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and i know the guy who makes tangiers is a regular (or mod/admin?) on the forum, so if you don't want stuff like this posted, don't worry about it and tell me, it really isn't that important (i don't know if you make the bowls or not).

I dont know the exact numbers, but..why not make your own dimensions up? Just Estimate and go from there.

I wouldn't even bother trying to replicate the exact Tangire's bowl [not that its bad, but making my own bowl would be nicer] Edited February 10, 2008 by Codename067

Yeah, I don't want to make an exact copy, just don't want it to be a horrible bowl that doesn't work. Really the depth is what i'm most concerned about (about an 1/2 - 3/4 an inch?). I should actually probably move this to the fun house now that i think about it...

I would say its about there, maybe a little more.

I would get you the numbers but, too lazy to go out and measure up. its raining outside too -.-

I'd make it shallower honestly. Half inch max so it kinda looks like a bird bath. Make the hole part of the funnel higher so it is flush with the top of the bowl. Make it use less shisha for a longer smoke. That's always what is aimed for in R & D....less for more.

It is a very good small Phunnel. It is great when you can pick from them. They all pretty random in all sizes

Make sure that the hole in the middle is lower than the rim so that the foil doesnt get stuck to it. Also, this allows room for a mod..

OK sorry for delay. After I loaded up my Phunnel and got it going this morning, I remembered.
OK over all height is 4-9/16"
Out side diameter of the Bowl. 2-3/4"
ID of the bowl 2-5/8"
middle hole OD 3/4
ID 5/8
middle hole is just a little less then 3/16 below the rim of the bowl.

the Phunnel has about a 3/4" diameter in the rim and a little over 3/8" deep.

Looks like he was very good at keeping the thickness of the of the bowl around 1/16"
