Question About Phunnel Bowl + Scalli Mod, Am I Doing It Right?

Hi guys, I recently got a medium Tangier's phunnel bowl and a scalli mod from mnhookah, and I can't seem to get it to smoke very well.

Even with two Akhla charcoals it doesn't seem to get hot enough to smoke well.

Should I put some shisha in the bowl and put the scalli's mod on top of it?

I've just been putting a decent amount of shisha in the bowl around the mod, keeping the shisha level a little bit below the top of the mod.

I've tried using less holes around the edge of the tinfoil to trap more heat, but so far I'm not doing do great. Any tips and tricks?

i'e allways found you need a fair bit of heat. Also using a windcover seems to help no end.

Thanks man, I'll try it out, you seem to drop a bit more shisha on there than what I have as well, testing out this Fantasia Pink Lemonade sample next, stuff looks like it's coated in stage blood.

Ditch the mod, thats your problem.

If you still plan on using the mod, the shisha has to be packed in fairly tight (not to tight) and packed high enough so you have the slightest gap between the shisha and foil.
