I bought my Syrian with the ice chamber because it was $8 more and I liked the appearance, but it only chills the smoke a little more than putting ice in the base by itself does.I'm not sure what my next one is going to be. I'm fairly happy with what I have, but I really like the Mya Phalcor vase. If I can find a Mya stem to go with it that I like I may wind up shelling out some money for that in a couple months. They can keep their Czech vase, slap on a standard KM vase, KM hose, and a clay bowl and drop the prce by $100. Then on top of that, its still a maybe. The KM was $71.00 after some bargaining. The place also had older, but not used KM stems. I picked up a nice solid stem for $10.00! 2 KMs for $81.00. I really liked the look of the hose that it came with. But... there was a tiny leak in it. Very tiny, but still annoying to me. I swapped out for a different hose with no problems.For anybody living in Phoenix. Baiz Market, near 20th st and Roosevelt, has KM hoses for $11.00. The owners / store keepers can be bargained with and you can inspect your hookah before you buy it.www.hookahculture.com has a lounge directory that also lists stores/markets.http://www.zabihah.com/ is a Middle Eastern Business/Market directory. And I like the traditional Hookah looks anyway, so I would take an Egyptian over a Mya in a heart beat.As for people mentioning the Ice Chamber..you do not buy the Ice Chambered KM for its Ice Chamber, that's just an "extra" feature..when I bought mine, the whole sale guy had em in stock, so I picked them up.
