Starbuzz?

so my starbuzz gets harsh after 45 minutes, burned to a crisp at 50. in the middle of my session i see juice OOZING down my bowl /stem into my water...
anybody else have that prob?

make sure you dont have too many charcoals [which can heat the bowl faster therefore dripping more juice into the stem.

as the juices drip into the stem, it does become discussing. Harsh, bad flavor, ect.

Buy a Phunnel bowl and never worry about problems like this. also keeps your hookah clean for much longer period of times.

There are bowls made to absorb as much juices before it start dripping into the stem. i have some, forgot what material they are made from. regular ceramic bowl with glossy texture are not your best friend with a heated bowl. juices slide right down.

I can make starbuzz smoke for well over 2 hours with great taste sounds like you have too much heat

Definitely too much heat. How big is your bowl and how many coals are you using?

When smoking AF/Havana/Starbuzz/Skyzz (or any other similar shisha) I usually start with 3 QL halves to get it warmed (for maybe 10 min or so), then cut back to 2 halves which I rotate around the outside edge of the bowl.

if you have trouble with heat management, then you can always use a windcover to start it off and when its smoking well take the cover off. thats what i used to do, and sometimes still do.

When I smoke tangiers.. First hit is just like the rest. Full of flavor and nice thick smoke.

Most the time I use the windcover for the start, take it off, then put it back on towards then end when the coals are dying.

phunnels are on the way; after my break is over :/
i tried to run the other day, my cardio is dead. so im taking a week or two off to get back in shape....
but until then I was running starbuzz blackberry in a relatively shitty shallow bowl with 2 3k ql, 1 on the side (so only half of it was touching) and one 3/4 on, so im not quite sure...
but it was good until it died.
