Not another Starbuzz!??!?!?! Price wise at least... I always raise an eyebrow to shisha over $10.00 a 250g. Around here I buy AF and Layalina for $7.99 a 250g, 2$ per 50g samples.

Ya i hear you.... AF is around 10.00 and starbuzz to me is overpriced.... Flavor wise i love fumari (mojito / lemon mint) but I got the hookup price on the 100g bags..

I'll post the flavor menu on daydreamz later this week..

There's a lot of new shisha tobacco coming around lately.... How well does Tonic do with your business? I see Tonic locally for $14.00. I didn't know it was Taqseem's shisha either.

Day Dreamz sounds meh, the name's as appealing as camel toe, $17.00 will get you some Tangiers and then some.

It scares me too that everybody is shooting to be the "better than Starbuzz" brand. Now, advertise that your "better than Tangiers" and we're in business.

the "better then starbuzz" was not my quote... I was only passing along what was told by the merchant.

Also for Mrmoodz

"There's a lot of new shisha tobacco coming around lately.... How well does Tonic do with your business? I see Tonic locally for $14.00. I didn't know it was Taqseem's shisha either. "

Not sure if you where refering to me, but I do not have a hookah business. Although I was very close in 05 in opening up a shisha lounge my partner flaked...

I guess you can say im in the R&D aspect now, more on the R...lol

Thanks LP640 for the clarification. When you said your local shop I automatically thought it was your local shop that you owned. My mistake.

the reason people try to get better then starbuzz is because to many people "not just this forum" its looked at as the best of the best, and tangiers is like comparing a dogs to a cat, imo its completely different and not for everyone. but im always open to new smokes, i dont look at the price much its more of if its good or not, and i don't smoke that often that 20 bucks for 250 will make me go broke anytime soon.

$20 for 250g is not that much if it was really twice as good as the $10 dollar tobacco. But seeing as it isn't even decisively the best its a bit to much. I wouldn't mind paying double if I got quality that was twice as good.

I tried to do tangiers and just cant... did all types of aclimating, funnels (small and medium)...overpacking..and over packing like hell , coals naturals, Golden coals and just cant get this to smoke or when it does smoke its way harsh..... maybe I should try heat management with the coconaras

I went through & trashed;

-orange soda
-coco f-line
-and I still have some chocolate mint left... I still need to try no ice in the base and see if that helps.....

Yea someone was right on that. The bar is set at Starbuzz. They should anyways stay the most expensive unless they come down in price. As for Tonic in the shop we get $20.00 out the door on line we are cheaper of course. Honestly Tonic watermelon and Af watermelon taste the same to us but AF gets better smoke.

I dont see $10.00 per 250G to expensive as well as if you are the best ( in many peoples opinion) then charge the highest price. I think theres alot more tobaccos out there on the way (trust me there are and most are pretty good). I tried Kamal and sure enough I was not impressed with the first run. I look forward to run #2 though. I will have the Tylenol close at hand before I smoke another batch for sure.

The Guys at Kamal will eventually get it right and when they do there will be a shelf waiting for them in this shop also.

Oh hey George if you read this remind me you have a new line so I can try it and maybe carry it also.

I'm paying $10+tax for AF, I won't pay anymore for crappy tobacco now; Tonic, starbuzz, Fusion, all crap with their price tag compared to AF. Tonic is prolly an equal to Starbuzz, with just as many bunk tubs. Fusion was a counter part to AF, but it tried to tote a higher price tag without any improvement; so they can stuff that. When ever i have got a bad batch of AF, it has still be very smokable and was prolly due to the vendor not treating the boxes nicely. All in all, AF is the best thing (even if the tobacco is dirty when compaired to HKJ's) you can legally put in your hookah and smoke at Starbucks. But This is just my two bits
