raytrace
OK, maybe some of you remember the big stink created by the Clinton War machine about Bush winning the electoral votes while Gore had the popular vote.Well, it's interesting to note that currently Hillary has the popular vote while Obama is leading in the delegate votes. But here's the kicker. The Democrat National Committee is denying Florida from seating it's delegates at the DNC conference because the Florida Democrats broke the party rules by having the Florida primaries before Feb. 5th.So all the Democrat presidential nominees agreed not to campaign in Florida... except Hillary opted to keep her name on the ballot so guess what? She got Florida by default.Of course, no one is making much noise about this since Florida has officially been booted from the DNC delegate conference. But hold up, wait until Obama is shown to have the delegate votes and win the Democrat candidacy.Do you think Hillary won't immediately run to the courts to force the DNC to allow Florida delegates to sit if it means she would win?Pretty slick tactic if you ask me, but damn... backstabbing and manipulating your own party like that. I don't know which I should be in more awe about.
Bulldog_916
If Hillary gets the nomination the dems can kiss the presidency good bye. McCain is liberal enough to center the nation with another republican and will paint Hillary as making the same decision that he did, to trust the president with war-making powers. If the economy comes back, guess where the focus will be? If you said Iraq, pat yourself on the back, you're smarter than the media is.
ahwahoo2006
Nominating Hillary would be the worst possible thing the Democratic Party could do.

TheScotsman
It is a daft system at best.Between the so-called experts on the telly all hours of the day, and the silliness of a system where the winner of the vote may not be the winner of the election, I am starting to think a return to monarchy would help all our sanity.Just wait until we get to the 3rd recount, and a few trips before an untold parade of magistrates about the voting machines being crooked! I think you have a point there. I don't think that most people would tolerate another Clinton presidency just like they wouldn't tolerate another Bush Presidency (Jeb Bush) so soon. Although Jeb Bush would definitely carry the hispanic vote by probably 75%.However, that aside...Hillary also has Michigan (maybe I'm thinking Massachussettes instead) delegates who have been banned from sitting in on the DNC nomination. If having those two states added in means the difference between Hillary and Obama, you can bet your best hookah that she'll go to the courts and that every major news media outlet will be having "experts" on saying that it is wrong for the DNC to deny Florida and Michigan to seat it's delegates. And then we will see pro-Hillary supporters coming out of the woodwork calling Obama the false president. =)Personally, I'm looking forward to the fireworks. St. Goodypants
She won't win. If Hillary gets the democratic nomination, then McCain will probably roast her in the actual election because the American populace is looking for something new right now.I"m not too worried about it right now because the big O is the new thing for the democrats.I like your sig jbean. very classy! MagicHookahs
Maybe eventually the DNC will understand that if they dont have winner take all in primaries and caucuses that any close race will drag out close to the convention. This leads to the Democratic nominee candidate cutting eat outer down and just hurting the party as a whole, while the Republican candidate sits above the situation and gains ideas and ammo for the open race!!!!-It is amazing how terrible some people are with logic. Bulldog_916
Florida = The state that always fucks everything up! Hillary is going to win AT LEAST Florida in that the state has so many retired people in it. Michigan I see going for Obama and we're back to square one. Unless Hillary fucks everything up like her financial backer Geraldine Ferraro did today. We're going to see a photo finish in Denver.

DRainh2o
She is a woman who can't take the old female vote, and splits the white vote. Obama generally takes 95% of the black vote, while Hillary barely pulls 54% or so of the white vote. I don't see how she can call these type of numbers a victory but she does. She will not win the nomination.
jonm1357
neither hilary or obama have enough experience to be president. and i'm not saying john edwards does but he would have been a much better choice to bring together the entire country and could most definetly beat mccain. people have been voting for obama and hilary for all the wrong reasons there not voting for change they're voting for something new. they're trying to make history and an actual good candidate(edwards) got lost in the shuffle and had to pull out.
