vofsking12
Hey guys, the way i set up my hookah is as followsPut Ice in water as cold as i can get it, then i put some milk in it, not alot, somewhere around a shot glass full of milk in the base. I've been satisfied with the thickness of the smoke and the flavor of the smoke considering the quality of the coal/hookah/hose/bowl/shisha and all that, but about 1/2 hour into my session when the ice starts getting a little melty, the hose starts getting weird, it's a little harder to pull (got the lingo down yet?), but it's still producing thick smoke, and the hose kinda feels vibratey. I know sometimes if it's a hot day/humid inside and all the ice melts quickly, i'll get hookah base mixture in the hose, just a splash. Any body have any tips? I haven't exactly perfected the amount of water in the base, i've only had the hookah for a little (my father smashed my first one last year). I know it's an MYA, but i have no idea what kind. It has a carrying cage, not a box, and it's a blue base with a blue bowl. Anything else i should try in the base? I put oj with pulp when i'm smoking flavors with orange, and milk and ice are the only other things i've heard of. I was thinking about getting a vanella (one of my favorites) and putting a splash of vanella extract in the base. Anybody tried this? What about Coconut extract?Robert
austinthecity
sounds like a Mya QT.the milk might be bubbling up into the hose. try using coconut milk instead.. you can use more and not worry about the bubbling
Stinkyfisherman
Normally you put the water up past an inch of the stem, that should solve your problems of water in the hose. coconut milk works and doesnt bubble like austinthecity said. just try differnt mixes and see what you like the most.
