Getting A Better Smoke Out Of My Syrian Chiller

Alright check it out. I got a 28" 3-Cobra Hose Syrian Chiller, mod blue bowl and Heba Diffuser, using two quick-light coals on it. Been owned and loved for almost a year. Only that whole time I've been smoking/selling Al-Waha to people too dumb to buy it themselves. This time I got tired of Waha and bought a shitload of Starbuzz. So there was this one time I tried smoking Fakher in this thing and it made a lot of syrup come out from the bowl and didn't really hit hard (or at all.) So I love this Starbuzz shisha and I can't figure out what to do. Any suggestions?

I would try a phunnel and mod. See if that helps, or do a fake phunnel using foil. (check the how-to sections for details)
