pxlshftr
Has anyone tried Al Amir brand shisha? I've had some weird results with it, but that might be because i'm really new to hookah, and i dno't know how to pack the bowl correctly. The first time i smoked it, the flavor came on slowly but was very strong. The next time, there was no flavor at all. And since then its been hitting really well but not for very long. Am i just a newb? Any tips on packing the bowl?
greektrash4lyf
hey i just started smoking too but i know how to pack bowls and such....and by the way...al amir is a good brand good taste well heres how to pack a bowl. First take a couple pinches of tabacco and put them in the bowl. Then break up the tabacco so it isnt all stuck together make sure its all spread apart and broken up.. cover up the bowl with aluminum foil and poke about 30-40 smallllll holes. I blow on the bottom of the bowl when the foil is on and the holes are poked..i do this because it helps spread apart the tabacco. hope this helps i tried my best

hookahphxsmoker
lebanese, i always have had the shiny side up, but your idea seems better because i think the tobacco would be less likely to burn and stick to the foil blocking air flow through the holes. Also when you use foil on a grill, you always have the meat on the shiny side with the charcoal/flame hitting the dull side...
jmexx
I love it! You have to treat it right though, scrape the ma'assel on the bottom of the container and mix it around every so often. You put the shiny side on the bottom, take a mechanical pencil and punch a good 50 holes in the tinfoil, do it in a spiral motion if you can, outside to in. That will work wonders for you, I'm sure. Oh and if you have a clay bowl that isn't painted, you'll want to get it moist, rinse it a bit then just shake off the water.PM if you have any questions!Jon
