Flavor Mixing Question

Recommended Posts

First off let me start off by saying that im new here, so im not sure if this is the place to ask his. But i just bought some Nakhla shisha. I bought some cherry (which ive had before and loved it) and some lemon (which ive never had before). I was wondering if they would be a good mix together, or if i should just smoke them seperate?

are you trying to make cherry lemonade kind of thing?

I like the Nahkla lemon alot, not the cherry though...

I would put 70% cherry and 30% lemon only because the lemon is strong in taste. Mix them well together (dont layer) and let it sit for about 5=10mins so the flavors bound together. Just setup the hookah in the meantime and start the coals. By the time you're done doing that, just pack your mix into the bowl and smoke. Dont forget, Nahkla is a heat whore.

If I want to get a good idea of how flavors will mix, I'll just open both and get a good whiff of them at the same time. If it smells good then go for it, just remember to put less of the stronger flavors as mentioned by racemyghost.

It's not a spot on method, but it usually gives you a good idea.
