viRus
Hiya, I'm new to the site and I'm a need of a little advice. I'm interested in purchasing a quality, good looking first hookah, something that I can be proud of and will hold decent value, something that will last a long time and have a large range of optional accessories/spare parts. I recently bought this hookah: To learn the ropes and see if I actually enjoyed it. I'm not sure what brand it is, I bought it for something like $35 from my local tobacconist, it was pretty decent but now I want to invest on something nice and not so cheap and tacky. Only problem is, I live in Australia. Currently all I have found is this website: http://barandhookah.com.au/categories/?product=hookah It has a large range of hookahs, but honestly they don't look as nice as the ones on the American sites. Also they are either name-less or mya, and I have heard mixed thoughts about mya. Firstly, Should I purchase from this website? Do any of these hookahs fit the criteria above? If so that would make it a lot easier then purchasing internationally. If not, do American sites ship internationally and if so, what would an estimated price be? Also, back to my opening question What is a decent entry level hookah? I'd prefer multiple hose because a lot of the time I have friends over wanting to smoke with me, and passing around the same hose gets inconvenient and unhygienic. What do you guys suggest I buy? Thanks guys!
Canon
if you dont mind getting a small hookah, heres your best bet.http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...h&pcode=193http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...h&pcode=192http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...h&pcode=194http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...h&pcode=190http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...h&pcode=191(all the same brand/type, just different colors)im not huge into multihose hookahs, if theres 6 or more i can see a 2 hose coming into play. as far as being hygienic id buy these.http://barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudc...&pcode=1943but when you smoke hookah, sharing it is part of the experience, its what makes hookah sociable. but if you still want to get a multi hose thats cool, a lot of people have one. its just not my thing

Snoopy1966
Yeah I like how it says Khalil Mamoon hose and it is a cobra hose they show, unless it really is a KM hose??? Still a very sweet Hookah. I would buy it.

nidal105
ViRusI have dealt with that website a couple of times and they were fairly reliable, postage costs were good and they got the product to me pretty quickly (1-2 days). If you go to the vendor review section on the website, you will find a review thread for them. Check it out before you order. As for the hookah, they do have some very well known ones that I think would be worth buying. The one I currently have (http://www.barandhookah.com.au/product/?proudct=1_hose_bohemiam_hookah_with_case&pcode=79) smokes really well and looks very nice. It's built solid and hasn't given me any problems since i bought it. From experience, I have never had success with multi-hose hookahs. If hygiene is a concern when sharing, it is cheaper and more practical to buy disposable plastic mouthpieces for each person to have while smoking. Whatever you decide, anything in the Mya/Bohemian/Egyptian range on the website is OK. I would steer clear of any Chinese made Hookahs, because they are usually cheap and don't function very well. But if you're after a hookah which is easy to clean and can break into seperate parts, then the Mya is always a good option. Khalil Mamoon Hookahs are also great, although they are an "older" style of hookah, the stem doesn't break apart and they are not as easy to clean and maintain. Also, I have doubts as to whether the Khalil Mamoons on barandhookah.com.au are genuine.Anyway that's my two cents, good luck
