Anyone Play Paintball?

I would be very tempted, but I have a wiring issue in my truck I need to fix first, and that is just a bit more important than getting a paintball gun, and I owe a few people some money, so when I get a job, all the important stuff comes first.

That's dedication......not

Honestly PB was really popular and besides those die hard fans, it kinda fizzled. I feel bad because it is a physically exhausting sport/game and I thought it would have longer staying power.

Ha, I loved paintballing until I realized how expensive it was and basically my mom told me either find money to support it or not and I was to young for a job and I got out of the game... I did play some games in the woods by me but I prefered playing in real arenas... Anyways I always had a desire to go back and play now that I am 21 but I have much more on my plate now then I did when I was in Middleschool/Highschool.

If there is any sport I want to go back into it's buying an ATV and going back into XC or MX I loved that 10x more then paintballing I got a lot more satisfaction out of it. Both were very fun though..

I had to sell my ATV for a car back when I was a senior in Highschool, I felt like I was breaking up with a longterm girlfriend... Edited by newjacksm

Been playing on and off for five years now, so damn expensive! I think paint has gone up to, could of sworn I had gotten RPS premium for $200 for four cases before. Went from a highly upgraded 98C to a Mini Orracle back to a 98C. Next time I get into paintballing, which will hopefully be next summer I will get all new gear: F8 fusion, Pinokio hopper, Ninja or CF 68/45 tank. But by that time who knows what will be out, probably guns shooting 60 bps on ramping... Edited by Sisonpyh

If people have that much money to shoot at me, I let them.

Right now I still have my 04 species timmy, and a mini E-orracle that needs new eyes before I can do anything with it.

I might eventually get an 06-07 ego if I can get it cheap and I start playing more, who knows.

I love to play, just no one around to play with anymore unfortunately, and the field here doesn't get enough attendance to have full out tactical war.

Still like i said months back, BDUs, strap on some knee pads (bad knee) and rip people apart.

I think my favorite time was when we were playing an Amazon field (thick forest) I was able to sneak up behind the opposing team after taking out two people while laying behind a tree that was only 6 inches thick and taking shots missing me by mere inches. They didn't think anyone had gotten that far behind them. So I'd walk up behind them ask if they were the orange team and when they answered yes I told them to surrender or get painted. All in all I took out about 10 players just walking around behind their lines and another 5 in some shootouts.

Their sniper didn't know what hit him when I asked where they went and shot him.

Needless to say I had a lot of angry, whiny, "pro" kids with thousands of dollars worth of equipment saying I didn't play fairly and I gave them another go at me during speedball. Their expensive equipment still didn't beat my Tippman 98 wink.gif
