waterboi
I am torn between the two and trying to decide which one to buy. I am ready to add a KM to my collection. Both are extremely good and beautiful KM's and seen to be well built pieces. The ice chamber on the Mash'al doesnt matter to me much but the look is extremely nice. Is it actually worth the extra $50 for the Mash'al? I know the heart of the Mash'al is brass also. I am not a fan of ice chambers at all but the look of the Mash'al is beautiful. I am just trying to decide if it is actually worth the extra $50 dollars. Maybe you guys can help me on this. This will be my first KM purchase. Thanks in advance for the replies and help.Pics of each for those not familiar with themHafaMash'al Edited February 19, 2008 by waterboi

Balthazar
I recieved my Hafa from HC recently (shipping only took one week, and I live in a country where polar bears roam the streets and regulary destroy the local post office) but I havn't been able to try it yet. Still living home, and with a little brother that looks up to me and wants to do everything I do I only smoke when my family is out of the house. Might get to try it later this week, but if not I won't get to use it before easter. Anyways, if I try it anytime soon I'll give you my two cents. Both pipes are beautiful. I like the hafa's look a little better, probably because I've never been a fan of red.
shisha fan
i`d go for the hafa. it looks good and isn`t too expensive. you won`t really use the ice chamber on the ma`shal since it hardly cools the smoke anyway.
zeppyrkr
hafa, i will be adding one to my collection soon, but the other one is a beaut too, just pricey for me.
ZenSilk
hafa is cheap, Mash'al is expensive but very well made. I say Mash'al. It wont rust, it's got a nickel plated downstem so you can abuse it a bit. The hafa is made of cheap shit KM metal that rusts. I own the Mash'al, it's a sexy piece of art, and it smokes perfect, of course.

Hafa's will deliver either way. My Dad owns an old school one. semi old school i guess.

I wash my hookahs after each use almost always and I def dry them everytime. The whole heart is one solid piece of brass, it feels so durable and thick. It is welde3d to the top portion of the stem with a nice clean perfect weld. The downstem is not brass, it is coated with nickel to help prevnt corrosion/rust; nickel plating is not in any other KM model, and nickel plating is a great rust resitant option. Even the bell on the end of the downstem is Nickel plated as well. The inside looks a little skethcy, but after i brushed it thouroughly it came out wiht a nice clean shine. it is worth the 130 bucks total you pat with the discount. I highly reccomend it. Mine is completely airtight.

waterboi
after reading Zensilks review on the Mash'al I think I am leaning toward it. The ice chamber probably wont ever get used but the build and quality of that piece sounds unbelievable
