Mash'al - hands down, personally. Its just a stunning pipe.

But then again, you really cant go wrong with any of the two.

after reading Zensilks review on the Mash'al I think I am leaning toward it. The ice chamber probably wont ever get used but the build and quality of that piece sounds unbelievable

I actually use the ice chamber, i think it does do a lil somthin somthin. The base is huge so it's perfect for my Coconut milk extravaganzas.

oh, i didn`t know that. some people on this forum said that it didn`t make a difference, but you seem to know your hookahs (judging by the videos on youtube). very cool collection by the way, i`m jealous.

The heat will make its way through the Stem when smoking a Phunnel bowl hence the bowl last so long.

I use natural coals, and they give out more heat than your average coal, so having that ice in the chamber prevents the heat from traveling down the pipe, which will eventually make your smoke hotter. especially in the summer. And thanks =P

Maybe some of the people that disagree with this statement use coals that produce less heat than the ones I use.
