Ctdrum Takes A Permanent Vacation.

You know what really pisses me off?

When you ask someone politely to avoid using certain phrases for the good of the forum as has been discussed so many times, and you get a smart-alec fairly tearse reply.

So goodbye.

This one was pretty funny actually, another jailhouse lawyer. Points out over about 4 paragrahphs how he hadn't technically broken the rules, in great detail, and then says he doesn't care, etc...

and simply put people think rules don't apply to them....

Agreed Canon!

I spent long enough here without attracting the wrong attention from the moderators at the time.

As Mushrat describes - Jail house lawyer. Personally I'd have a prefered a thank you and everyone went about there day.

And it does happen occasionally - you point out someone's faux par and point them to the rules. It's just the odd asshole that spoils one's day.

you play with fire....

no what im saying is for me id have to go out of my way to break the forum rules.

I know what you mean tongue.gif

It really isn't hard to post here without even coming close to violating a rule. Most of them are common sense (which is neither) and the rest are a handfull of specific prohibitions. We have hundreds of posts a day that don't break the rules...so ya..it isn't THAT hard.
