Could be the nicotine and the mint flavoring from the Nakhla? I enjoy Nakhla Mint mixed with other shishas but not by itself. I can smoke AF and Layalina Mint alone though.

How's the taste? It sounds to me like your shisha is burning, something I've found quite easy with Nakhla. The effect really is similiar to what happens to me when I get a really harsh hit, just speaking from own experiences and guessing though, I could be wrong. What does the shisha look like after the session?

Damn I hope that never happens to me that would suck. Smoke'n the hookah and puke'n everywhere, I’d load another bowl of a good flavor to get the taste out of my mouth

I find this happens to me sometimes actually.

I've also found it only happens with 'dodgy' flavoured shisha. Is that mint ok?

tastes ok..

rofl mush.. sounds like a bad week!
matt, you yourself told me, you just CANT smoke nakhla mint alone( i can but you cant ahahahahahahah), so theres your problem =P

i thought i couldnt but i can tongue.gif last time i had it alone was when i wasnt used to nakhla and ended up getting sick (1 of the 2 times i got sick from hookah, this was the worst) it was a good session though, apart from the weird taste.. might be the coals. i washed my hookah after that session and ill try mint again soon and ill see what happens. also it wasnt with mint only, it happened with cola and cherry too. i love the mint though, its been an hour since i finished and theres still a pleasent herbally aftertaste in my mouth smile.gif

Nakhla tobacco is almost per definition stronger than others because of the higher nicotine content that may be causing it. Also some people hit too much and too hard, just inhale as if you're breathing, don't force the smoke in. Try to have something to drink and eat when you smoke so you won't be inclined to keep hitting non stop.

It's the mint flavor. You know when you have a cough drop that has eucalyptus or menthol in it and you go outside in the cold and it hurts.burns when you breathe? This is kind of the same thing. Your lungs cannot take any more of the menthol feeling so you start to choke, then you start to gag and then you hurl. Cinnamon does this too, it's a spice.
It's just your body's way of telling you to stop whatever the fuck you are doing.

I have this same problem with mint tobaccos. It's almost liek it was msoking harsh, but you still get perfect taste with a scratchy throat and you are able to inhale less and less.

I have had this happen a few times smoking Nakhla, but I was really hammered so that probably explains why, sometimes it just hits you bad. Nothing you can do about that.

Eh, I happen to really liek Nahkla Mint alone, so far the only Nahkl flavor I have purposed gotten more than once. Granted it is the flavor that I usually only smoke for 30 minutes to an hour.

Oh, mush, how's the ventilation in your place. Girl might have passed out from CO, which will also make you sick to your stomach after your blood reaches a certain PPM. CO is probably the only thing that makes me a little nervous about hookah coals.

Nakhla mint is an immensely strong flavor. My friends and I tried it by itself once and only once. I found myself gagging (not retching, gagging) after three puffs.

We had that box for over a month and a half because we would only mix it with other flavors every once in a loooong while.
