ComicSmoke
Hi guys,Need a lil bit of feedback about this. I just got my hookah, it smoke great. But I just have a little bit of taste problem. My setup:Hookah : It's similar to 31" The Kremlin @ Smoking-hookah.com except for the different colored base and the decorative thing on the stem other than that, it's all the same.Standard bowl as on the linkStandard hose as on the linkTobacco: Al Fakher Peach (turns out to be the fake al fakher because it doesn't have the genuine seal and the logo is different. if you're wondering, its the 50g pack.)Coal: Not sure what brand it is, it's in arabic. But it's in a strip which you can break into 3 and it's coated silver. Using foil Ok here's the thing, I get this nasty molasses/sugary taste and it's kinda taint the whole peach flavour. The smoke is not harsh or anything, I can still smoke it nicely but the flavor is just not right. Another thing I notice is that it drips down the bowl too, the shisha juice. Is it just bad shisha or is my setup wrong? What can I do to improve the flavor? Thanks in advance!
r1v3th3ad
might be too much heat, actually burning the shisha instead of vaporizing it...try less of a packjobi've had different shisha do the molasses drip, the one I'm smoking now does that
Bryantos
Well, I would try the actual brand if you think its fake. That sounds like a case of bad shisha if you ask me.
The Devils Playground
I agree try a differnt brand of tobacco from a good dealer rather it be on line or a local shop. If thats not it then you and jacked up. BUt I will run with bad tobacco. And like someone else said. Back off the coals a bit may help also.Good luck on that and keep us posted.Oh and there are 2 al fuckers out there. One is the original the other is a copy cat tobacco line. I hear the fake sucks balls.
ComicSmoke
Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciate it.. Maybe i have bad heat management, I'm not sure, I always start off with 1 coal burning red hot coal on the edges, then start rotating it every 7mins or so then I would add another coal. After a session, i notice that the bowl will have some black tobacco left on top but the below it some of it is still pretty 'fresh and juicy... is this normal? Thanks.I'll be getting the original shisha soon, it's hard to get one around this region. Thanks again guys!

addicted2shisha
Fake AF is abysmal... try any other brand and have a quick look at some tutorials about how to pack your bowl.
EternalSoil
fake brand and the fact that its a 50g sample will make it taste not to great.50g's tend to have more glycerin in them which make them taste weird.

sss8789
yep, 50g are ok but some flavors just need to be 250g, to much glycerin can make it taste like soap
ComicSmoke
Thanks for the inputs, guys! Most def will take everything into consideration the next time i pack my bowl.Anyway, yeah, i notice that the 50g pack is extremely juicy, as in, its like tobacco soaked in blood. lol. thanks guys
ImLow78
I'm glad I found this topic! Thanks ComicSmoke for posting it! I seem to be having the same problem with my new MNH Glass Funnel Bowl (W/Mod). I've smoked two bowls of Tonic Orange delight and I don't see anything Delightful about it. All I taste is a over powering detergent or soap flavor that smells like orange but tastes far from it. I'm also having a problem with getting the bowl to smoke right. When it starts out it very smooth but hardly no smoke (Thats using exotic coals that I have busted into three chunks, but only use two out of the three). then halfway through it gets harsh and a bunch of smoke. As for the Shisha, I have never seen so much juice! I'm going to try and have a bowl of the fusion Orange Sorbet tomorrow. can some one post some pictures on the prober way to pack the MNH glass bowl (W/mod) and what works best on poking holes in the foil. Thank you!Shannon
Bulldog_916
Use 3 1/4s of an exotica and place it all the way onto the edges. If you start to get too much heat, take a 1/4 off and put the other 2 near the center of the bowl.
