REVIEW: Fakher, Havana, Amir

Recommended Posts

well about two weeks ago i ordered 3 flavors of tbac, Al Amir banana
split, Al Fakher Sweet Melon, and Havana Cola. Ive had a chance to
smoke all of them thoroughly more than one time and here is what i have
to say on the tobbaccos

I started out with Havan Cola, came in a nice red box all bubbly and
such. I open the box and it smells like a vodka and coke, very strong
and almost sickening- yet tempting at the same time. I guess im an
alchoholic

Cut: The cut is nice and juicy, no stems or anything. Its between Al Fakher and Tabac Le prince cut, being regular sized cuts
Molasses: Less juicy molasses than that of a Fakher tbac, but good enough

Now heres the important section guys-

Smoke: The smoke i was getting was terrible, very weak and
dispersed, not thick at all. Even half way into my session i was not
getting large hits. When the tobacco finally started burning it would
burn my throat and was not very smooth
Flavor:The flavor was terrible, just like a vodka and coke excpet it
was like very weak and hinted. I couldnt really taste the coke at all,
even with coke in the vase.  I was expecting a spicy coca cola
taste but it was weak and not really satisfying.

Over all ill give Havana Cola a 3 out of 10 .
Im stuck with a 250 gram box- maybeill have a better experience with it
in the future but for now its certainly not my favorite.

Now before i start on the Banana Split, i wanna let you know that it
tastes nor smells nothing like Banana, or ice cream or chocolate. Its
like a spicy fruit. Really spicy its interesting, enticing in an exotic
way. I enjoyed the packaging, a simple tub with a vacum packed
transparent bag.

Cut: The cut on this tobbacco is almost shredded. Its kind of cool
actually me never seeing somehting like this. If anyone has ever seen a
tin of cherry dip, this kind of resembles it except longer cuts.
Molasses: the idea of the cut being shredded helps the molasses stick
to the tobbacco, which i like. Theres less of a mess since all of the
tobacco has absobed the molasses. Your fingers dont get too sticky

Smoke: I think the idea of the cut being a little more shredded is key
for this tbacco. When i put the charcoal on the tobacco bubbles softly
like its cooking, its actually a pleasant sound. I was yeilding a
pretty good amount of smoke very fast with this tobbacco and it lasts
long!!
Flavor: is nothign like banana split! i really dont know what it is but
its like a spicy fruit. Its very enjoyable and fruity, i know some
people might disagree. The flavor has about a medium strength, i get a
pleasant spicy fruit taste in my mouth afterwards

If you dont have too much money and want to try a pretty good easy to
use tobbacco i would definently reccomend Al Amir, for its price its a
great tobbacco. Its only about 9 bucks a 250 jar and it certainly KICKS
THE CRAP outta nakhala. I give banana split a 6.5 out of 10

My last tobacco , Al Fakher Sweet Melon, is the one with the
greatest expectations. Its Al Fakher so naturally i expect a good smoke
from this brand. I have Al Fakher Grape and Double apple and both of
them are my FAVORITE flavors they are just so delicious. This Tobacco
has left a strong impression on me about buying only Al Fakher for the
rest of my life

Lets start with the smell, enticing, veluptuos, tangy sweet and sour
SWEET MELON. It smelt so good i had to change my drawers after opening
the package. I got really excited, so i pulled out the tobbacco and ran
a little analysis on the flavor. I even putsome in my mouth. not too bad

Cut: The cut is very true to Al Fakher exotic flavors, juicy juicy
thick with sweet molasses tobacco, and nice even cuts with the
occassional stem.
Molasses:Same thing, exactly like Al Fakher Grape cut. After a session
i find a puddle of molasses on my charcoal dish from all of the sweet
molasses dripping down the stem.

Smoke: The smoke , all though it might take 2 or 3 minutes of huffing
and puffing is nice and thick, not burning at all and feels great on
your throat and lungs. not too good to make o's with but the thickness
and packets the smoke came in was great, pouring out of my mouth. My
friends could not see my face cause of all the smoke, and thats when
you know its a good amount
Flavor: A burst of sweet sweet melon flavor on every puff, that gets
your mouth watering. Its like candy almost its really delicious, and it
doesnet burn your throat at all, like Al Fakher Double Apple (or as i
like to call it, licorice) can do sometimes.

I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND THIS TOBACCO to anybody willing to shell out 13 bucks for you tobbacco, THIS IS A MUST! it was soooo good!
9.5 out of 10

Nice reviews!
The Havana is living down to its reputation I see..no suprises there.
The bananna split sounds interesting, It's like the Al Waha melon I have. Its not bad, sweet and fruity, nice smoke, and tastes NOTHING like melon.
As for the AF Melon. I agree all the way! Its in my top 3 or 4. You notice its VERY RED....even the SMOKE is pink!
