Hookah Repairs & Mods With Quiksteel Epoxy Putty...

Recommended Posts

Hi guys... so I built my own windcover since my old one was too short... I used an empty coffee can and my old windcover... I used QuikSteel to hold the two peices together... I don't think it's unsafe since the putty sits down below the bowl, however I was curious on what your thoughts are regarding using this material to fix your Hookah or plug leaks.

Here's the MSDS on the stuff... the instructions also claim that it's safe in drinking water pipes.

Its fine...
I use JB Stick on my hookah...
All my seals went bad, they were some sort of super glue. I bought the JB Stick, mixed it up, and went to work. Once in a blue moon I have to redo the seals, but this one is holding from november.
JB Stick is the stuff the use to plug leaks in gas tanks and what not. Completely non-toxic and is good up till 44 degrees I believe.
Lemme know how that works out man...

On another note, this reminded me that once I have the money, I need to get a new, quality hookah to replace my ghetto Mitsuba...
