Bulldog_916
Well, its been a long time coming. I ordered this stuff at the end of January. I kept the container out in the garage. I'm now smoking Horchata and I can say, with a huge grin on my face that I've finally made this stuff work. It's great flavor wise. I've got a bit of a body buzz going. Using 2 jap Diamante coals on it. Could not be happier. My next project is for tomorrow, making brambleberry work. -Crosses fingers-Note: This shit is complicated, but worth it when you finally solve all the issues. Sonthert
Oddly enough, until about three years ago, I though the way you packed Tangiers was the only way to make a bowl. I was hangin with the guys at hookah.com and they packed a bowl and just put 5g in and I'm like "What?" For five years of hookah smoking, I thought there was one way to do it...all the lounges in San Diego did it that way, all the people I knew who had ever shown me how to make a bowl did it one way. So, it comes like second nature to me...but, I'm glad success has found you. Try putting more in if the smoke is thin and harsh.
Bulldog_916
It wasnt thin before, just harsh. I figured that I was using too much heat after that was the general consensus the last time. I packed it high and everything, just lowered the heat a bit and now it's smoking like a champ. The only thing I changed this session was the amount of coal. We'll see if it comes out as good tomorrow too. Here's to hoping.
