Music Visualizers

Anyone here make music vizualization presets? I use Milkdrop 2 in winamp 5.5.

If you're into that stuff download the "electric sheep" screen saver program. I love it, it gives you random things like that as screen savers, that change daily.

i had a really nice one for my itunes awhile ago, gerr this is going to bother me now, it didn't do to much random stuff but none the less it always seemed to amaze me. ill try to find it again.

What I like about milkdrop is that you can make your own.

You can modify the basic appearance or write code to change everything from how it reacts to pitch changes to the visual effects.

Milkdrop 2 (the version that I used for the ones above) includes the ability to write your own pixel shader code. It lets you make some really cool effects. Edited February 28, 2008 by St. Goodypants

+1, electric sheep is the best. It might not be a music visualizer, but you can make your own animations for it which are then uplaoded to the server and distributed. If they are well received by those who get them, they will go on to digitaly mesh with other well like animations and create a new "generation" Edited March 1, 2008 by Elky

It's a very cool idea, I just didn't like the fact that they play it off as "collective computer dreams" which is bullshit that people might actually believe out of their own ignorance.

That said, I've got it as my screensaver. I need to start making my own.
